Piacé

Piacé derives its names from « Piaceium » meaning place or location.
In 1099, William Rufus, king of England took his chance to engage the enemy in battle here on his way to lay siege at Fresnay and to seize Le Mans.
In 1930's, the celebrated architect named le Corbusier worked on a colaborative project for the village.
