Maresché

Maresché originates from the word « maresc » which means marsh and also market-garden.
It is a village in two parts : the centre, with the maire's office, the school and the church, is near to Vivoin. The river « l'Orthon » separates Maresché from Vivoin.
The second part of village is called « La Croix Verte » near to the Le Mans -Alençon main road.  Here you can find 2 romanesque bridges, Colinet' s house and river  Sarthe.
